On Tuesday night, First Son Donald Trump Jr. delivered a speech during a Turning Point USA event in West Palm Beach, Florida.
While on stage, Trump Jr. was joined by a few of the younger, less official, members of the administration — his kids.
The first son explained on Instagram that “baby Chloe” and his son, Spencer, “just wanted to hang out with dad,” so they came on stage.
As all speakers are acutely aware of, going off script can have disastrous repercussions. However, with an “amazing crowd of young and enthusiastic conservatives cheering on,” he decided to pose an impromptu question.
“I took a chance and asked Chloe who she liked more Grandpa or Santa,” he explained. “She went with Grandpa and the crowd went wild.”
The father of five added that his youngest daughter “may be a future politician” because she has “no fear.”
According to CNN, Trump Jr. posed another question, as well. He asked the crowd to imagine the alleged biases in the FBI took place in 2008 when President Barack Obama was president.
“Do you think the media would cover that?” he asked, claiming it wouldn’t be “brushed under the rug” but instead there would be “revolution in the streets.”
